When a fire breaks out, it’s essential to have an immediate source of water to fight the flames. Water tanks are used to store large quantities of water (several thousand liters) for firefighters and fire departments. These tanks can be located close to buildings and can be buried or above ground. Z600 galvanized steel water tanks are particularly useful for this application, as they are durable, corrosion-resistant and can store large quantities of water.

Water tanks as rainwater harvesters..

Water tanks are also used as rainwater harvesters. Rainwater can be collected from roofs, filtered and stored in the tanks for later use.
